Your Client's Home is one of the Biggest Investments

Your client’s home is one of the biggest investments they will make in their lives. Help them get the best return on their investment by suggesting the following landscaping ideas.

  1. A healthy yard. This is probably one of the simplest things you can do to increase a house’s curb appeal. Make sure the lawn is green and well-manicured. This might be as simple as laying new grass seed or putting in a flowerbed. Adding a few lawn chairs with pillows will give the house a more modern style of landscaping and make it warm and inviting.
  2. Build a stone patio. This requires a bit more work, but it will instantly provide a great place for your clients to entertain their guests. A nice patio can really increase the value of a home, plus this stone work is durable, making it a safe investment.
  3. Add features. Now that you’ve suggested a healthy lawn and a nice patio, it’s time to start thinking about additional features your clients could add to their yard. If they have kids, a playground might be a good addition; if their budget is a little bigger, perhaps a lap pool. However, you don’t have to go overboard. Something as simple as a grill or fire pit can help your clients make more use of their outdoor space.
  4. An outdoor room. If your clients are willing to add on to the home, a sunroom or three-season room can really improve the value of a house. It will also provide a great place to entertain guests and, when the time comes, woo potential buyers.
